Hey Jevin - This is a great post. It's interesting to see how you've identified this experiences as an amazing learning opportunity and, despite the speedbumps, view it as a success - which it was! Glad it meant you're part of the startup community now.

Jevy,<br>I appreciate how though the startup consumed your thoughts every waking moment (and why shouldn't it), you somehow were able to stay objective. You reevaluated your ideas to see what you did that turned out well or badly. That attitude's so important to learning, it's what enables you to not repeat mistakes. Best wishes with whatever you choose to do in technology, you're giving yourself the best odds for success.

Great post, Jevin. I'm glad it was such a positive experience for you: Learning things the hard way can be more painful that what you went through. I'm looking forward to your next startup!

Very solid post. Startups, like agile development, are about iteration. As long as you have a good feedback loop through each startup, you can systematically improve your odds of success.

Jevy, thanks for the honest and sincere post. Few people realize how difficult it is to start a new business. It takes a lot more than just a good idea and (if you have it) money. You need to understand all facets of starting a business. You've learned a lot and when you're ready you start your business and you'll be successful too.

You are my hero.
Probably comes as no surprise to you, but I think I am now in exactly the position you were in not long ago - though my job isn't quite as privileged.

I don't have the bureaucratic acumen to run my own business, but if you ever need some network level consulting done, I am sure you are someone I would love to work with.

In any event, congratulations to you, sir.
